The purpose of this Tribute to Influential Australian Christians website is to provide one form of acknowledgement of the Christian men and women who have contributed to the development of the Australian nation, in which we are now privileged to live.
The people listed on these pages will have achieved more than the brief summary contained herein. Also, there are many more Australian Christians, beyond those listed here, who have (often quietly) achieved so much.
There are obviously issues relating to the definition of the word Christian within these pages. The final adjudication on this matter will be left to one greater than I.
