Question: What is happening to Australia’s Christian heritage ?
Answer: It is being white-anted.
George Orwell once said, Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past. Quite so. It has always been a hallmark of the totalist state to control education and to rewrite history. Those who can alter the past will be able to manipulate the future.
And Karl Marx, the father of Communism, previewing the actions of Communist regimes in the 20th Century, said, Take away the heritage of a people, and they are easily persuaded.
The Truth Project is an excellent resource for Australian Christians. Video Number Six is particularly relevant for the issues raised in this website.
Why Australia’s Christian heritage matters
Charles Francis, News Weekly, March 1, 2008
Historical-revisionism is happening in Australia. Australia’s children are the primary targets.
1 Educationalist white-anting
Consider – Thedraft, ‘National Curriculum for History for Australian school children’
In its 20 pages, the draft ancient history curriculum mentions religion twice. There is no reference to Christianity anywhere in the document. There is no mention whatsoever of basic concepts such as separation of powers, the Westminster system of government, or significant events in Western history such as the Magna Carta and the English Bill of Rights.
Further, the draft modern history curriculum is 30 pages long. Christianity is simply never mentioned, at least not explicitly.
Priority is given to “Asia and Australia’s engagement with Asia”, along with “Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures” and politically-correct issues like the environment.
Why is the legacy of Western Civilisation missing from Australia’s National Curriculum?

2 Societal white-anting
Consider – Australian society is white-anting Australia’s Christian heritage
There are those who would advocate that the voice of religion be silenced, or at least relegated to the purely private sphere. There are those who argue that the public celebration of festivals such as Christmas should be discouraged, in the questionable belief that it might somehow offend those of other religions or none. And there are those who argue – paradoxically with the intention of eliminating discrimination – that Christians in public roles should be required at times to act against their conscience.
3 Political white-anting
Consider – Politicians of all persuasions are white-anting Australia’s Christian heritage
Political (re)visioning for Australia
4 Islamic white-anting
Consider – The book, ‘Bringing Muslim Perspectives into Australian Schools’ which is being supplied to all Australian schools
Australian school children are being told, that ‘there were Muslims in Australia long before the arrival of the First Fleet.’ (page 97)
Consider – What all Muslim children, from an early age, are taught about Christianity
Australian Muslim children are taught to memorise the al-fatiha in Arabic. The al-fatiha is to be repeated seventeen times a day. It is mandatory and states Christians have gone-astray. This position is reinforced by Australia’s most senior Islamic figure.

A museum dedicated to Sydney’s gay and lesbian history is as important as institutions that preserve Jewish history and Australia’s military past, says a leading broadcaster and gay rights activist. ”I’d compare it to the Australian War Memorial,” said Julie McCrossin. Click here
